Wow,

Let me tell you this month was amazing ending in our final country in Costa Rica! Our team and another girls team were in Jaco working with Christians Surfers and a our contact named Hannah! Jaco, is the closest beach to San Jose so many tourist go there for vacation.

Once upon arriving, we were taken to Christians Surfers and set up our tent. Hannah then had us take the Meyers Briggs test to see where we could best fit for ministry. She then sat down with each one of us and told us where our strengths and weaknesses were. It was fun to do because I had changed since training camp a year ago!

Over the month, we helped vamped up the local library and then host a children’s week to bring kids into the library. I was on face painting and I want to say I may have been very close to making a kid cry due to his face paint. We also painted an entire mural over all the Christian Surfers buildings to make the property look fresh! That was fun as well to see the place go from green and yellow to an underwater stain glass mural!

I also did get to go surfing which was fun! I was a little sore after it too. With this we met a couple young American girls (and Canadians) who have come down here to build there own ministry called CasaFe! It is amazing to see girls our age coming down here to start there own ministry and love on the kids in this area!

Overall an amazing last month and now we are in debrief! I fly home in two days and can’t believe this part of my journey is coming to an end!
