The bottom line, after all that went on and everything I experienced, is that I can no longer deny the fact that the Holy Spirit moves in distinct, clear, and amazing ways for the glory of God.
I just recently returned from Georgia where we were put through an intense week of training camp. It was an incredibly challenging week, and as I have finally had some time to process all that went on, I am so excited and ready to leave on the World Race. I feel as though I have gone through a paradigm shift in the last week as I have had to acknowledge the fact that perhaps my view of the Holy Spirit was extremely narrow minded and that we truly do believe in a God that is capable of showing himself to people today. During this past week, time and time again, I experienced and saw God in a new way and I am so excited for this opportunity to go into the world and serve such an amazing God.
Sept. 2010: Q Squad
One of the greatest moments of the past week was finally getting to meet my squad and to be assigned our team for the next year. Knowing that I would be spending the entire year with these individuals, I have been praying for the group that I would be put in for the last few months. Though it was quite a process to go through, in the end, I am extremely excited for the group I have been placed in and cannot wait to get to know these individuals more this coming year. God’s hand was truly upon the entire process and it was amazing how he orchestrated and worked to bring the group of us together.
