I just returned from Ecuador, where I spent 8 days celebrating and attending one of my closest friends wedding.  It was an amazing time and it was great to see a couple whose relationship has been so focused on God and honoring to Him finally get married.  It was my first time in South America and I really loved all of the opportunities to see the city of Quito and experience life in Ecuador.  At the end of all of the celebrations, I did have to say some farewells to a few people who I won’t be seeing till I return from the World Race.  It is so hard and painful to have to say good bye and I am not looking forward to all of the other friends and family that I will have to say farewell to for a year.

I have exactly a month left before I head to Georgia for our week of training.  Unfortunately, upon returning from Ecuador, I found out that the construction job that I thought I had lined up didn’t pull through, due to work being really slow for my former boss.  So, a major prayer request is that I would find work for the next couple of weeks.  It would be a huge help to make a little bit of money before I head out.
Lastly, I have two weeks to meet our next fundraising deadline.  I have $1302.50 left to raise before July 14th.  Your support is greatly appreciated as are all of your prayers.
(Also, if you are in the Southern California area, I would love to see everyone before I leave, so please get in touch with me!)
