Words can't even express my gratitude right now.
I am so very thankful to all of you who are supporting this Race financially, as well as prayerfully- I just checked my funds and I am currently at a whopping $9,354.00!!! WOW! Oh my gosh, my heart dropped when I saw the amount there accumulated from various giving individuals, along with an incredibly generous recent amount given by someone who chose to donate anonymously.
Thank you to all of you prayer warriors who have interceded on each of the Dub-Squader's behalf for financial provision, strength, protection, equipping, and preparing! God is moving heavily everywhere and it's just so exciting to get to be apart of it all within such an amazing community of believers.
& while we're at it, I'll throw in a couple quick prayer requests I would absolutely LOVE for you to join in agreement on!!! :
- Please let us continue to pray for spiritual unity, loving, accepting and uplifting one another in Christ so that all can truly witness and experience the power of the Holy Spirit moving through the united Body of Christ
- Please pray for the women and children who are currently in, or just escaped from, oppressive & unjust situations in the U.S. and nationwide- it's insane the freedom us women are allowed in the US, and what harsh realities women in other countries face daily that we could never even come close to imagining. Some current issues include trafficking (2nd biggest organized crime in US behind drugs), prostitution, poverty, HIV/AIDS, rape, gender discrimination, maternal health, and lack of education. The Lord has heavily put it upon my heart to be in prayer for these situations, as well as SO many others I've talked to, and if we could all join in on this issue together I cannot even begin to imagine what we will begin to see happen, because He's been doing incredible things with all of it already!!!
- Provision for my squad-mates who have not yet met the launch deadline ($6,500 by Aug. 18): Megan, Hannah, Candace, Ray, Marissa, Kath, Lolita, Kate, Heather, Lauren & Christina!!
