I'm pretty sure when I get home I will start hoarding toilet paper! At least 10 times a day I am asked where the toilet paper went! Who would think toilet paper would be such a topic of discussion!
Albania has been an amazing month. When they first told us we would be coming here I was less than thrilled about it! I honestly didn't even know where Albania was! 15 hours in a plane, 36 hours on a bus and a walk up a trail with our packs later I found Albania! Such a beautiful country! So much like Colorado in the sense that it is full of beautiful mountains and dry as a bone!
Upon arrival we learned that we would be working in a kids camp! Every Monday afternoon the bus would drop off about 125 kids. Ranging from ages 5 to 15. While they were here they did everything from archery, swimming and rock climbing. Most of the kids we were working with came from Tirana which is the capital of Albania! It was such an amazing experience to get to hang out with these kids. We learned most of Albania is Muslim. But that didn't stop us from telling the kids how much Jesus loves them!
It's been such a great month 1! And even though I lay in bed getting attacked by flies I feel so blessed to be here! Even if I am now a toilet paper hoarder!
