(Older blog that I forgot to post!……OOPS)

"I will never stay in a hostel Mar! That's gross!"  This is exactly the words that came out of my mouth on my drive home from California two years ago.  Well last night I was snuggled up in my bed, in a hostel, in Bulgaria.  And guess what? I LOVED it!

I'm quickly learning that on the World Race things are not always going to be the way you expect…. or the way you want. Learning to live in a big group is interesting.  We have been in a constant state of not knowing. Sitting in random places, not even being sure what country we will be sleeping in tonight!  Its awesome!  So far the World  Race has been everything I wanted and more!

Today we started our travels to Serbia!  Which meant another Bus ride….. Yay!  We have quickly learned that although your ticket says you have an assigned seat thats not necessarily the case!  Today was a prime example of that!  There were 14 of us waiting to get on the bus. And we decided to be thoughtful of the other passengers and let them get on first.  Little did we know this would mean that 4 of us wouldn't get seats and our bags would be piled up in the "emergency exit"  (Oh how that would have never been tolerated if we were in America!)

Once we were all on the bus off to Serbia we go! With  Chandler standing at the front of the bus and Brad on the floor!  While we were driving We got to go through the most unbelievable mountains ever! And I am a Colorado girl, I know good mountains! While I was riding through I had "How He Loves Us" blaring in my ear, and I couldn't help but to marvel at the fact that God loves me even more than he loves this amazing creation, I was watching pass me by!  I don't think I will ever fully understand how great his love for me really is! But at that moment I knew it was a lot!

I know that I will learn so many amazing things about My Creator while I am traveling.  But I think I have had a glimpse into the most important.  God Loves me…Like A lot!  I am so excited that I get the opportunity every single day to go love Gods people like he loves me!
