So here at the world race a common question is mountains or oceans, I defiantly say mountains. we just got back from debrief and we spent 6 days in Jaco beach and i got 3 major bruises because of the ocean (it probably doesn’t help that i’m a bad swimmer) I do not like the ocean at all besides walking on the beach, but I still get burnt. so I helped lead worship one night with molly and Trever played the guitar it was pretty fun I love worshiping with my squad the have such a passion for the lord and for praising him its just so amazing. I had amazing time at debrief i relaxed a lot had a lot of personal time spending with the lord finding out more stuff and just getting to learn to hear Gods voice. so i had this amazing talk with one of the base leaders list night and she just helped me so much! figuring out thing about how God worked in my testimony and I didn’t even know it at the time and how I can just grow more in the lord, she is one of my favorite people i look up to her so much and she is just such a blessing (oh her name is Allison, she’s the best!) one of the best things about being on the world race gap year is that you have so much mentorship and just even base leaders that can help you find your identity in the lord and just grow more in him and they will always be there if you have a question and i didn’t find that out tell debrief with having one on ones with them and it was just amazing i cant wait tell our next debrief.
