I begin this letter with a sigh and a small laugh. The moment I landed on your precious soil I felt peace, freedom, and joy overwhelm my soul. You see, I had just left India. While I enjoyed the work I was doing there, I was not myself. I was a prisoner bound unjustly by the evil spirits that hovered over the land. But you, Nepal, you welcomed me with open arms. The splendor of your mountains, the lush green valleys, the joyful children, and smiling faces made me feel at home.

Home. That’s an amazing feeling when you’re more than 8,000 miles away from your own. But no matter where I go in this world there will always be a sense of home in my soul. That’s because my Father, the God of the Bible, resides within me. He is my Comforter, my Friend, my Provider, my Protector, my Lover, my Challenger, the Source of my hope. God is my life, my Everything. He has sacrificed His life on a cross, risen from the dead after 3 days, and sent His Holy Spirit to be my Guide. All this He did so that I might be forgiven and set free from the punishment of my sins. Because of Him I live, move, and have my being. It is because of my Savior that I am able to love, honor, and cherish you, dear Nepal.

It is my prayer that you will come to know the One true God as your everything. That you would accept His offer to be with Him for eternity in heaven. All you have to do is confess with your mouth that He is Lord and believe it in your heart that He is for you. As you learn and grow, your life will change for the better – no need to be perfect before you come to Him. Just as I felt free and at home when I landed in Kathmandu, I pray that you allow Jehovah to dwell in your heart and make it heaven your eternal home.

I love you,

Hi everyone! I’ve been on this fabulous journey called the ?#‎WorldRace? for 2 months now thanks to the generous prayers and support of people like you. In order to continue this God-ordained mission, I need to raise another $1,800 by the end of September. God has been teaching me a lot about relying upon Him in and for everything, walking in patience, and loving others even when it’s difficult. I would be very appreciative if you would continue praying for my squad and I, consider spreading the word about this need, and make a financial contribution via the Support Me button at th top of the screen if you’re able to do so. ?#‎ForeverGrateful? ?#‎ShondasWorldRace? ?#‎SupportRaising?
