I have found that this ATL month is going much differently then I had expected. I didn’t really know what to expect but it seems almost as though God is calling me to seek him out and just spend as much time in his word as I possibly can. Initially I thought that couldn’t be right because I’ve developed a new love for spreading God’s word to others and building relationships to make connections that God can keep sowing into as time goes on. And although I have evangelized while doing ATL this month I can’t deny that God is clearly calling me to stillness and has placed an overwhelming desire to better understand his word and his love for me, within my heart. I will continue to spread his word wherever I go but I’m hoping to understand God on a much deeper level after this month.
Also, my team is currently in Langkawi which is an island just off the cost of Malaysia. This island is a haven for tourists and backpackers because of its beautiful beaches and its low cost of living. Since we’ve gotten here we’ve had many conversations with travelers, tourists, and locals about how much the lord loves them. We’ve seen huge breakthroughs and many hearts have shifted towards better understanding who God is. We are going to leave this island soon and the possibilities are endless for where we might end up so pray for us because I expect God to do some amazing things throughout the remainder of this month.
