Draw near to God and he will draw near to you. What a promise that is. I’ve been spending more and more time with God lately in the early mornings and all throughout my day and there’s been so much fruit because of it. I’ve seen visions and I’ve heard him speak clearly. There’s really no magic steps or secret methods that will get you closer to God, all you have to do is seek him. Pray to him, read his word, worship him, speak to him, or just think about him. He loves all of the attention we could possibly give him because the best thing we could possibly do is give him all our attention. It’s what we were created to do for all eternity so we might as well get a feel for it now. With that I’ll ad that sometimes we stumble or just become content. Maybe even Luke warm at times. And I urge you to ask God to give you the desire to serve and seek him. The only way we can ever desire God is when he gives us the desire to desire him. You with me? He’s not of this world so our worldly minds can’t possibly comprehend why we should desire to serve him until he himself gives us the desire. It comes straight from the source of his unfathomable love for us. It’s a gift. So if you’re lacking in zeal then ask God to give you zeal. He will. He absolutely will, I’m speaking from experience. So ask him right now to give a desire to walk out his love and his promises every day and I guarantee your heart will change. Just sharing my thoughts on a Thursday afternoon in Eswatini.
