Its Sunday and it’s our 4th day in Lesotho, we leave the house by 8:30 to drive 40 minutes to church. Its cold outside and we were told the church doesn’t have heat so I am wearing sweat pants under my long skirt. We arrive at Maseru United Church and its a beautiful building. We sit in a pew behind Silvia our host and wait for the service to start. I notice right away we are the only white people in the building which is something new to me. We get quite a few stares especially from the little children but everyone is very friendly. The service begins with worship, there are about six to eight young adults at the front of the church with instruments and microphones. The congregation is asked to stand and the music starts, right away I recognize the song and start to sing along. The next song is also familiar and my entire team fills at home singing the words. The third song we don’t recognize but its beautiful and easy to pick up so we don’t stop praising the Lord. The forth song is another song that we sing at my home church, thats when it hit me. How big our God truly is! Here I am a half world away from home in a completely different country on a completely different continent singing the exact same songs as we do at home, praising and worshiping the exact same God! Thats how big He is! Thats how worthy He is of worship and praise! I love that I am able to go to these different countries and be part of spreading the gospel, I love seeing the bible play out right before my eyes and getting to be a part of it.

Matthew 28:19 Therefore, go and make decibels of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
