Cambodia was manisty month for the men of our squad, which meant (wo)manistry for the ladies. I was placed on a team with the original girls from my co-ed team along with three women from another co-ed team.
The first week in Cambodia, we spent time in a village about an hour outside of Phnom Penh. No wifi, no showers, no problem! However, if I had been in this village month one, there might have been a problem. I’m amazed at how squatting to use the bathroom, and going long periods of time without properly bathing no longer phases me. TMI I know!
Anyways, we were teaching English to elementary aged children for most of the week, but the last day we decided to do something a little different. I will never forget these sweet children. Check out the video to learn more!
Also quick travel update: I will be in Siem Reap for the next five days for debrief. Then it’s off to South Africa for a three day Regional Awakening conference. Then we will head to Botswana to begin month five! Pray for my squad as the next few weeks will be full of traveling.
