Hello all!! Welcome to my blog…never thought I would say that. Well I’ll start out by telling you guys a little bit about myself. I’m from Sturgis, Michigan, and if I were in front of you right now (in true Michigander form)  I would use my hand to show you exactly where that is on the mitten.

I currently work at Mishler Packing in Indiana. I am a meat cutter and packager.  I am blessed to say that…I love my job! It is a great place to work, and I especially love it because it is a Christian run business.

My parents have been married for 28 years. They both work at a school working with children with special needs. I have one older brother…which makes me the baby.

I graduated from high school in 2012 from a small Christian school. And when I say small…I mean small! My graduating class consisted of two people.  I went to a community college, and got my Associate’s Degree in General Studies. I decided not to continue on with my schooling at that point. College just wasn’t for me.

I have always had a heart for missions. I was blessed to be able to go on a mission trip to Costa Rica with my high school youth group, and ever since then I have always desired to do something more. I was able to go on more United States based mission trips throughout the years, as well. Then in 2013 I went with a team to Nicaragua to build houses in a barrior that was right next to a garbage dump. It was an eye opening, life changing experience.

I am really excited about this journey God has me on! The World Race is something I have always dreamed about, but never even thought was a possibility. I love traveling, missions, and Jesus…so what better way to spend 11 months of my life, then combining all of those things.
