Trusting God is like breathing, you can only take one breath at a time. In the same way, Jesus says, "Trust me in this moment, for tomorrow has enough worries of it's own." I am learning, that as faith is developed, it is HARD. I want to have all the answers now. I want to control my life situations.
But the journey of faith is one of daily surrender. Moment-by-moment trust requires discipline and patience. But I can see Christ working – bringing me through my own doubts and insecurities – especially about the mountain of raising $15,500 – and He has said to me,
"Stop thinking about it as $15K, instead, say to me: 'God, I'm going to obey you today. I am going to step out in trust, and what you're asking me to today. And I'm going to actually ENJOY it, because it is good for building my faith & perserverance.'"
So, in this moment, I will let my faith grow, because that is where God's true miracles are seen!
