Today, I came home from work, and lo and behold, I found a bundle of boxes filled with treasures from REI. I am the most blessed girl in the WORLD!
I was giddy – opening the packages – blessed, blessed, blessed. God is SO good to me!
Got a pair of Chaco's from a special friend today that had a card enclosed, which read:
" 'Romans 10:14-15 – Beautiful are the feet of those who bring Good News.' To: Shelli, From: A friend"
Now, I pray that the Lord will prepare these feet to GO where there is no hope, to go to the broken places, to feed the hungry, to heal the sick, to love the needy… that is where I belong. That is where I am HOME.
I read this the other day, and it's been on my mind:
"I didn't know where I belonged anymore. God had to teach me that my place is in Him, and that as long as I know that fact, I don't have to be uncomfortable anywhere with anyone."
