Malawi Photos: ‘Cribs’ Edition

Here are some photos of our living environment in Salima, Malawi where we were stationed for the month of March. 

Photo 1: My tent is hiding behind the gray tent on the far right. It got so hot during the day, but it was such a cool place on the top of a hill overlooking Lake Malawi.

Photo 3: This is the photo of our 'shower.' See those yellow jugs? If we wanted a shower, we had to hike 1/2 mile to the village well, pump our own water, and then haul it back.

 Photo 5: This is Johan & Marie's beautiful home. I loved it so much, they used local products and reused so many things in the most ingenious ways to make an incredible home.
