On Ministry:
Okay, finally to the good stuff. Here are some of the things we've been able to do here in the DR.
– Visiting Juan and Alba's church plant
– Prayer walks, prayer over the city and the people
– Visiting over 200 kids in a tiny three room school
Doing skits, songs, sharing Bible stories and testimonies

Sorry this is sideways… Juan and me at a youth event.
– Mixing and pouring concrete to build a bathroom and the floor, and cleaning at Juan's church plant
– Visiting youth services throughout the city
– Playing games with kids in the city

– Playing lots of guitar
– Seeing a man and a woman both give their lives to Jesus
– Using my graphic design skills (yay!) to bless Juan with brochure, movies, and signs (so fun)
– Helping out the family with cleaning, watching the kids, doing dishes, and supporting them in ministry
– Joining another World Race team in Azua (a coastal city about 2 hours from Santa Domingo) and going to a huge school to visit classrooms and share why the Bible is important. I shared my favorite verse, 1 John 4:18, "There is no fear in love, perfect love drives out fear.." and I talked about how I was afraid to do missions, but that God challenged me to be fearless and GO!
– Sharing my story at a high school in the city, where eight students prayed to receive the Lord
– Visiting a friend who is sick with kidney failure and getting to pray over her. Please pray with me, her name is Margarita.
Also, please pray for my sweet grandma. She had a stroke last week and is not doing well. She is in a care home, and just spoke to my mom today who said she has lost memory retention (she couldn't remember Grandpa) and is seeing things. My grandma is an incredible woman whose heart is as strong and sweet as gold. I am praying for full recovery. I want to see her again! Please pray with me for my grandma, LaVonne (Lonny) Brandt.
