I am SO thankful and excited!
But… I have a long ways to go with fundraising.
For those of you who don't know, I am leaving in September for a year of missions & volunteer work with The World Race! I will be going to Southeast Asia, three countries in Africa, the DR and Haiti, Moldova, and Romania to spend my days caring for orphans and sharing life with the local communities.
I am so pumped because this adventure is truly a match made in heaven for me. In order to go, I need to raise $15K. Yup, you heard it right, $15,000 smackers. I have raised about $1000, but as basic math tells us, that leaves about $14K to raise. My goal is to be at $3,500 by June 1st.
So, as you can tell, I seriously can't do this without you guys.
I know things are tight, finances are tough, we are all strapped. But… what if you could invest in something INCREDIBLE, something that has really cool rewards, something that will make you feel really good about that $5 dollars, that $20 dollars, that $500 dollars?
Money, money, money. Could you sacrifice, for me? That weekly latte, gym membership you never use, magazine subscription… I know, I know. It's alot to ask, and I hate asking. But I also really, REALLY believe this year can change lives… not just for me, for all of us.
