Hello friends!! My name is Shelby Norder. Instead of attending college like I had planned, I have decided to take this next year to serve Jesus and spread His word to others around the world. I, along with a group of 18-20 year olds, will be taking 9 months to minister and serve in South Africa, Ecuador, and Cambodia. This blog is made for friends, family, and anyone who wants to follow me along this incredible journey!
For the past 18 years of my life, I have lived in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. I have always been super involved in sports. Whether I’m watching sports or actively playing, I love it. Since my freshman year, I played on the tennis team and swam for my girl’s high school team. During my high school experience, I have also been very involved in Younglife. This past Sunday, I graduated from Cape Central High School (super exciting woohoo!). Most of the time, I can be found spending time outside in the sunshine, singing, snuggling with my dog Bentley (warning: I often refer to my dog as my son because he is basically my child lol), or hanging out with friends and family. I am a big people person and loveeee making conversation.
This next year is going to be quite a shift and challenge, but I am so so excited to see what the Lord has in store for me and those going on the trip!
