Hey friends! Life in Cambodia has been absolutely amazing. I’ve seen the Lord’s hand in everything we’ve done and experienced.

I’ve always loved to dream about my future; friends, job, husband, children, and home! I really believe there’s so much power in speaking life over your future even when you’re not necessarily sure of what it looks like!

Looking back at my middle/high school self and looking at me now, I’m living the future I dreamed of! It’s not exactly how I had envisioned it, but the Lord’s still moving all around me and growing me!

Here are a few pictures of what life’s looked like for my first two months on the mission field::

These are the sweet kiddos I get to teach english every morning!

My friend Annika and I have been going to Battambang Assembly of God every Sunday and this is their worship team praying before church! They have all been so welcoming, despite the fact that we don’t speak the same language.

Another picture of “my kids” (: My heart skips a beat when I see this because those smiles stay on their faces

In the afternoons my team spends two hours at the local trauma hospital. This a blanket I’m getting to sew together that will be given to a patient!

The alphabet puzzle has become a daily ritual with LiMing and Yahuong! Now actually learning the alphabet? We’re still working on that one (:

This picture goes way deeper than me sitting with a little boy eating ice cream; it actually has very very little to do with me. Matthew 25:40 says “And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’” Sitting with this boy felt as if I was sitting next to the King himself. The Lord expanded my heart and vision of what it’s like to show people what love does.

All of these photos show what life has looked like over the past two months. It hasn’t been easy or looked exactly how I had expected but it’s the dream I’m really living in! I’m so thankful to have the opportunity to join what God is doing in Cambodia.

I need your help to continue the work my team is doing over the next 7 1/2 months. I still need to raise $3,565 and I have 67 DAYS to do so!

These photos give you only a glimpse of what you’re sowing into; not only in Cambodia, but soon in Ethiopia, Nicaragua and Costa Rica. Your prayers for these places and people carry more weight than any finances, but finances do play a supporting role.

You can donate directly through my blog by clicking the orange donate button at the top, and you’ll also receive a tax deduction that way. If you would like to know more about life here, my team, or how to give please feel free to contact me!

Much love!
