I figured it’s time to share what a day in my life on the race looks like. So here it is!
I wake up around 5:45-6, then I start my daily journal entry and thank the Lord for the day and I ask Him what he wants to talk about. Then I get ready for the day, and eat breakfast at 6:30. After breakfast my entire squad goes to morning devotional with our ministry host Sharelle!

As previously stated, I teach English! My awesome teammate Victoria and I co-lead a class of 6 kids from 8-9am. Then from 9:30-11:30 we plan. Planning sometimes looks like going to a coffee shop to plan afternoon classes and brainstorm ways to improve our teaching or the materials we put together. Then at 11:30 we have lunch, and from 12:30-1 my entire squad meets downstairs for time with the Lord. During that time, a leader may share something or it may just be our own time with Him. After that, we have free time until 3 when my team gets to be back at school to play with the kids before classes begin again at 4. At 4, I teach a class of about 15 and at 5 I support my teammate Sarah in whichever way she needs while she teaches her class.

We eat dinner around 6:30 as a squad. Dinner is one of my favorite parts of the day because at this point all the teams have come home from their scheduled ministry and we all get to share how it went and what our day was like. It feels like home when we all come to the table. After dinner is team time, which is different every night! Then we have to be in our house at 9pm and quiet at 10.

Our classes are more than just teaching English. Ezra Learning Center has become a safe place for 100-130 kids. Even so it’s not just Ezra Learning Center, it’s God’s Learning Center. Not only are we teaching them English, we are teaching them the Bible. Despite their home life, financial status or education level, they are all welcome at Ezra. Every student that walks through those doors is seen, loved and prayed for. They may not know it, but there is an army going to battle for them every day.

I can’t lie, it’s messy and sometimes very disorganized but I wouldn’t trade our little home in Battambang, Cambodia for anything. I’m so thankful to be here.
Since I’ve been in Cambodia, God has spoken to me every single day. I’ve heard Him, felt Him, and seen Him. He was here before our plane even left Georgia, He didn’t need us to be here but He wanted us to be here. He invited us into the kingdom and is allowing us to share it. I’ve never felt more loved by Him.

As of right now I am $4,965 from being fully funded. Your support is a main factor in me being able to stay on the race to continue spreading the gospel overseas.
