"How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring the good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, 'Your God reigns." – Isaiah 52: 7

Coming on the world race I knew I would pray for many things, but praying for my feet to be protected never made the prayer list. That was until so many members of our squad started experiencing a lot of issues with our feet. From broken toes, to rolled ankles, to sprained ankles, to skin rashes on our feet, and to car accidents involving our feet.

One of our own, tough as nails and sweet as pie, Katie LaRose, was in the hospital for over a month and underwent many surgeries and ultimately had to be sent back to America because of the condition of one of her feet after a moto-bike accident.
It was at this point that Abba really laid it on my heart to pray for the protection of mine, and the rest of b squads feet.

As apart of the serpents punishment for sin in the garden The Lord said," you will crawl on your belly and you will eat dust the rest of your life." -Genesis 3:14

He attacks our feet because that's all he can reach.

After hearing this from The Lord I shared this with our squad and we started praying together. We knew that the issues with our feet were a direct attack of the enemy and we began rebuking him and telling him to get under our heel because victory isn't his.

"The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet." -Romans 16:20

Our feet were made for going.

Made for going to serve.
Made for going to heal
Made for going and bringing restoration.
Made for going and spreading the love of Jesus.
Made for going and experiencing this vast world that was all created by the work of his hands.
Made for being his hands and feet.

So today, I rejoice as my feet are protected by the almighty. I rejoice at the places these feet of mine have gone. I am thankful for this journey that my feet were given the privilege of embarking on.
