So far, fundraising for the World Race has taught me many things. One of those is to expect the unexpected.
When thinking about who you will reach out to for fundraising help and guidance for a long term mission trip, it usually includes close friends, family, and coworkers. Although those people are an integral piece to the puzzle, they are not what completes it. I have found out it will take a lot more than my family and close friends to make this trip a reality, and that’s where Stephanie comes in.
In high school (about 5 years ago) I worked at the mall in a clothing store. At the time, Stephanie was one of my managers. After four years of being apart, one would never think that a relationship such as that could mean so much. When I decided to go on this crazy journey called The World Race, Stephanie was the first person to reach out to me and show interest in supporting me.
Not only is Stephanie a financial supporter of my World Race, she wanted to help me out even more! Stephanie is a photographer, and wanted to give me a free photo shoot to help spread the word of my trip. A few weeks ago, we met up to take some pictures around my hometown. Now is the time to debut the photos! Below, you can find some of the many wonderful pictures she took via the link. Be sure to share, share, share!
