Hello beautiful people! Since you are taking the time to support and encourage me through this incredible journey, the least I could do is share a little tidbit about who I am.
The Basics:
- I am from Indianapolis, Indiana!
- I found out about the World Race through my university. I was considering the Peace Corps following graduation, but the school tweeted the link to an article about a fellow student going. I knew it was the perfect fit for me.
The Fun Facts:
- Jesus has changed my life, and I couldn’t be happier.
- I love my career in social work.
- My passions are helping people and travelling–now I get to do both!!
- A good book is the best medicine. My favorite is Redeeming Love.
- I live for late night jam sessions in my car with friends.
- Unlike most girls, I can’t stand chick flicks. I love a great action movie.
- I will do my best to make someone smile, but making someone laugh is a bonus.
- My love languages are physical touch and words of affirmation.
- The color blue makes me happy.
- I am the biggest Beyonce fan you will ever meet.
- I only write in blue or black pen.
- I am probably one of the only people in the world who can’t wink.
- Most days, I can be seen wearing a jacket of some sort, preferably leather.
