Dear all,
I hope this finds you well and with the peace of Christ! It’s been sometime since I’ve posted and so much it seems has happened since! God has been on the move in a wild way in Central Asia and I count it as a huge privilege to have been a witness to it.
Last month, I had the opportunity of being a part of the first World Race team to go into Uzbekistan. My squad-mate Daniel had submitted a proposal to our leaders/advisors after the country had first stirred in his heart many months ago, and it had gotten approved. Uzbekistan had been a closed country since Soviet days and only recently had it opened up. That country is undoubtedly under an anointing of God, particularly now. Part of the Silk Road and described as the heart of nations for the way that the waves of Islam and Christianity had clashed there in history, we walked into a land that I’m pretty certain is on the cusp of another spiritual revival. During our short time there, I witnessed multiple people coming to salvation, God providing housing, food, and help through nonbelievers and believers alike, at the same time also divinely appointing us to meet our brothers and sisters’ needs with impeccably arranged timing. I will not forget the zeal and love of our Uzbek brothers and sisters who washed our feet telling us that our feet will go where they cannot go.
I am currently in the city of Osh, Kyrgystan teaching English classes with three other teammates and am absolutely loving it here. Have met amazing brothers and sisters in Christ, and have been met with wonderful hospitality.
I wanted to make the exciting announcement that after finishing up with this World Race route at the end of June, I will be in Seattle for a month, then going back out on the field with the August 2019 Expedition squad as an alumni team leader. We will be going to China, Nepal and India. I ask that you will prayerfully consider partnering with me by helping me get fully funded for my current route for an amount of $2383, and $5000 additionally for alumni team leading.
Thank you for all your support! More updates soon to come!
