“Heal my heart and make it clean

Open up my eyes to the things unseen

Show me how to love

Like You have loved me

Break my heart for what breaks Yours

Everything I am

For Your kingdom’s cause

As I walk from earth into eternity”

-Hillsong “Hosanna”

Team time has been rich. This is something we do every morning around the table. We worship, we pray, we fellowship and we study His Word. I love hearing the prayers of my team. Yesterday, Nashiely made a list of all the people we had come across in North Africa that we had interacted with. The way she prayed that prayer for God to draw them near to Him epitomized the meaning behind the lyrics of the bridge of Hillsong’s “Hosanna.” “Break my heart for what breaks yours.” That was what the Lord had done for Nashiely, He had broken her heart for those who do not know Him. She was praying in the Spirit, letting Christ work in and through her. It’s easy to hear if someone is giving lip service, but that was something raw, a crying out from the depths of her heart. I am so honored to be a part of a team of girls who are that hungry for Jesus and His kingdom. Our team times together each morning are always revelatory. As each team member shared, you could always tell that they had met with God in their own space, evidence of a rich inner life with God. Their histories with God overflow and the details of revelations they’ve been given are intricate and fresh. Thank you Lord for these team members.
