Say What…

           -World Race

           -Missions Trip

           -YOU a missionary

-You mean give up your income.

-Leave your family and your dogs.

           -What countries?

-Why are you doing this again?

-That sounds like an Amazing opportunity.

The basics:

Yes, it’s true I have decided to go on a year long missions trip to 11 different countries. The countries are Guatemala, Nicaragua, Panama, Swaziland, Lesotho, South Africa, Maylasia, Thailand, Cambodia, Indonesia, and the Philippines. We will be serving those in need and the work will vary by location depending on their need. These services could be teaching English, disaster relief work, leading women’s groups, children’s sports camp, community gardens, painting or cooking.

The why is simple:

It is an outward reflection of an inward love I’ve experienced over my lifetime.

You know the feeling of love. Then overtime it becomes more than a feeling but a

proven and absolute truth! You can’t help but respond in love; it changes your  world.

I was on Facebook once and saw a Gif of a Skeleton skipping with fairy wings, a tutu and a wand. I looked it up on google and the full Gif includes a group of people also running away from the skeleton LOL. The caption read, “When you are dead inside but want to brighten up other people’s lives.”

While hilarious, the sad truth is that many people are walking around like that and it was happening to me.

If you got a second chance at living…

You realize in that moment, THIS is only the beginning.

What are you going to do with it? And if you could help others [Family/friends/your community] find their second chance(s)…Why NOT ? We are not here alone.

The best way to learn is from the source by the same method. But you first have to learn. Learning is a journey and this is another step in my journey.
