Inspiration through Prayer
Saying goodbye in Lesotho was tough, after such a sweet month in ministry and getting to partner with so many kind hearted and intentional staff members. But month 5 has already begun and more good things are in store.
After Lesotho we got to spend a couple days in Winklesprut, South Africa. Those 3-4 days of reflecting and praying are a part of debrief. This time was used to seek God’s guidance, touch base with leadership and prepare for the next month of ministry. We also got broken into new small ministry teams.
Both my prayer life and view on prayer is one of the places I see change in, so far on the race.

Biggest updates are:
We made it to Swaziland safely!
We will be living and doing ministry in Manzini, Swaziland. Our ministry partner is Adventures in Missions and we are specifically working alongside them in three areas; also have the opportunity to help with some small projects. So far ministry has been supporting the preschool teachers, helping organize/clean, and media/advertisement about the work being done through AIM missions in Swaziland.
In recent months I had been searching for a devotional series and praying to be refreshed in God’s presence. I came across one right in my Bible called 30 Days with Jesus and set a goal with my team to complete it. It has been just what I needed and even brought me to the passage that stirred my heart for something more, the origin of my World Race journey.
“The person who trusts me will not only do what I’m doing but even greater things, because I, on my way to the Father, am giving you the same work to do that I’ve been doing”. (John 14:12)
I remember this passage leaving me with the question, What does this mean for me personally, right now? How could he possibly be referring to me? If this true, what’s getting in my way?
Honestly, I still don’t have all those answers but God is certainly making it clear some things standing in the way.
In closing, thank You for your support so far. Fundraising has no reached $12,252. Please continue to support and share my journey.
