This is Lisa Marie Roller. I may be kind of cheating here because I already know Lisa, but being that I know her I can introduce her to you from a more personal perspective. I met Lisa about a year and a half ago when she was what she calls Lisa B.C. (Lisa Before Christ). Shortly after meeting her I was able to see someone transform into a true servant of Christ faster than anyone I have ever met. In one night she was changed into a different person, and I am so blessed to be able to witness such a crazy transformation. She truly wanted to learn how to serve the Lord and was turning from her sins and the life Lisa B.C. was living. Lisa has an amazing heart, is hilarious, full of joy, and takes advice from others to heart. She is going to learn and grow so much from The World Race and has so much to offer through service and her faith in Jesus.
Lisa and I were both considering The World Race separately and when we talked about how we both wanted to go we decided we didn’t want to go together. We didn’t want any comforts from home or familiar faces, but very quickly God showed us both that it will be a blessing to see the other periodically throughout the trip, and I know having her there will be something I am thankful for. I am so excited to be a part of what God does in and through her during this trip.
The unicorn tattoo is not real, but she did want it for real for a short period of time. Just look at the excitement on her face.
Last May our friends decided we wanted to have a Prom for grown-ups so we had an 80’s Prom.
Lisa’s car almost caught on fire so my roommate and I went to pick her up from her house. On the highway on the way home we got a little crazy. It was one of the first warm days of Spring. That can do wacky things to a person. I think she may have been trying to hurt me here. 🙂
