Read Part 1 Here

Adrian, the boy under the bridge, had been on my mind. I knew we probably wouldn’t be going back and I would probably never know what happened to him. I knew that I did the best that I could do and all I could do now was pray. Pray that God would take care of him, would heal him. That his mother would see him walk one day.

Then, along came Sharon. She was our contact who took  my team to the feeding under the bridge. She is the one who is in charge of Children’s Garden, a ministry that the men of our squad have been helping with. And she is the one in charge of taking us to the street kids every week. She is an awesome and wonderful woman of God. She came up to me on the other night while we were at street kids and told me some news about Adrian.

She said she took some people to the bridge the other day. One of them works with an orphanage. Upon seeing Adrian and his condition she knew she could help. She has connections with another orphanage who works with children with disabilities like Adrian. Through her connections, the orphanage is willing to take Adrian into their care and provide for his needs! PRAISE THE LORD!

The only thing is that Sharon now needs to go tell his parents and see if his parents are willing to give him up. They will still be able to visit him and see how he is doing but they must consent to give him to the orphanage. Please pray that they do. There is no life for him on the streets. I could only imagine what it would be like to give up your child to someone else to raise but I also see this as an answer to pray for this family. One, their son would be provided for and taken care of and they would still be able to see him. Two, they would have one less person to worry about feeding and be able to take care of themselves and their other child better. I know that may sound harsh but it is meant with love.

This really would be the best place for Adrian so please pray for God to continue to work in this situation and that his will is done.
