Importants stuffs probably

1. Made it safely through travel day!  That is a major accomplishment, trust me.  Just an example of our schedule the last couple days: Friday involved ministry and house cleaning until the wee hours of the morning, when a bus picked us all up at 3 AM to take us to Santa Domingo to catch our 9 AM flight… That didn’t take off untilo 11:10 AM.  Then we had a super short layover in Orlando, just time enough to get a replacement computer since mine committed suicide in the Dominican Republic and just catch our flight at 6 PM to Dublin, Ireland.  We then had to stop at around 8 PM in Boston for 30-45 mins because of technical difficulties, but after that minor issue, we arrived safely in Ireland at 10:30 or so in the morning.  We got to our campsite, set up our tents and proceeded to distract ourselves from sleep in order to fight jet lag.  Mind you, I’m pretty sure I got a total of a few hours of sleep for 3 days.  But all in all, we made it safely here to Ireland.
2. Which leads me to item numero dos… Ireland is amazing!  Especially after the heat of the tropics… I love not sweating and not dealing with mosquitos.  Its marvelous!  Also beautiful, and just plain gorgeous.  Also, I’m here for the Awakening, which is a conference for all of the World Race teams currently on the field, which include squads L, M, N, O and P (my squad are the babies who just started).  We have some awesome worship with Jonathan David Helser and amazing teaching with Micheal Hindes and Allison Johnston and others… so awesome!  I’m so excited, and I just found out we are streaming LIVE online!  If you want to see some incredible worship and teaching and possibly catch a glimpse of me, check out this website: http://www.theworldrace.org/?tab=awakening&subtab=livefeed
3. We also found out what country we are going to next!  You guys may not have been aware of the route changes on my trip, but political unrest in Turkey is preventing our squad from ministry so changes were being made, however up until this morning we were unsure of where we were gonna be placed.  But now we know, and our next destination is……. Drum roll please…… The Czech Republic!  Now I have no idea what we are gonna be doing yet, but I’m psyched!
4. Item number 4 is very important…. Finances.  My next deadline is drawing near on October 1st, and I need to have $11,000 in my account.  Right now I’m at around $9,600, but I know that is plenty enough time for God to provide for my financal needs, cause God is pretty awesome. 🙂  I was personally thinking of an awesome idea…. My 21st birthday is coming up really soon on September 17th (woot woot!) so I was thinking that since none of you can send me presents on the field, you should donate to my support account instead!  Just a couple bucks, they add up quickly though. 🙂  Then you can bless me and totally make my day even when you can’t send me presents!  Yay! haha

So yep, that’s just a little summary…. A little “What’s New With Shawndell”.  Hope it was entertaining/informative/something that won’t make you fall asleep while reading it.  Even if it did, I’ll forgive you.  Love ya and miss you bunches!
