Is it possible to receive so much information that your brain can literally explode? Cause that’s how I felt lat week.  I just returned from training camp, where my squad of 74 World Racers were preparing to leave for this crazy trip in a little over a month.  My heart, soul and mind have been on overdrive since I stepped off the plane and into the sweltering Georgia humidity on Saturday the 22nd.  I expected to be challenged last week…. I did not expect to be pummeled and knocked off my theological and spiritual feet.  It was unexpected, but certainly exhilarating.  I learned God cannot be put in a box, there is no end to His power; when we ask He delights in pour His gifts upon His children.  I learned I need to honor my brothers and sisters on this race and empower them to do His ministry, placing them above myself and giving them life with my words, not death.  I learned to declare God’s truths over myself, speaking them out with confidence because I am a warrior of God, I am mighty in the Spirit, I am anointed for His work and I AM HIS BELOVED DAUGHTER.

In addition to everything I learned last week, I got to meet MY TEAM!!!!!  My team is titled team Hind’s Feet, after Habbakuk 3:19: “The Lord GOD is my strength, And He has made my feet like hinds’ feet, And makes me walk on my high places.”  (NASB)  My wonderful co-racers consist of two amazing men of God and four beautiful sisters in Christ…. Let me tell you about ’em!

Kayla Thomas    : Our fearless leader.  To be honest, when I heard she was our leader I had doubts, only because I had never even talked to her!  However, she is a beautiful woman of God and her heart of humility makes her perfect for the position, for the best leaders are servants.

Aubrie Wooden:  This girl is such a sweetheart.  The first time we spoke was one day at camp when my back was hurting.  She saw I was in pain and she reached out to me and prayed for me… She has such a compassionate heart and I’m blessed to have her on my team.

Lucas Tillman:  Crazy dude!  This guy is hilarious and is always there to cheer you up when you are down.  He is an amazing man of God, completely open to learn more about God and put into practice what God has been doing in him.  Also, he never lacks energy, I’m not sure he ever slows down!

Brittany Letsinger:  Can I say drama queen??  I say it in the best possible way of course.. 😉  This girl has so much fire and energy she can be overwhelming at times, but her heart is passionate about the things of God.  She cannot stand to see people hurt or disagree with each other, she is a persistant peacemaker.

Christy Zbylut    :  This woman is powerful in the Spirit.  I have never seen someone around my age with such knowledge of the spiritual world and such an ear for the voice of the Lord.  With boldness she speaks life to everyone around her, even the random people we run into.  I’m excited to be in ministry with her!

Jermey Harris:  The word that describes this guy is encouragement.  He is constantly blessing those around him with words of encouragement and I know he blessed me more then once last week.  He is so humble and submissive to the work of the Lord in his heart…. Such an amazing man of God.

All in all, I guess I’m ok with the people I got stuck with… er, I mean the people I get to enjoy on my team. ;-P  haha I’m just kidding.  I’m totally excited to serve along side each and everyone of these brothers and sisters in Christ.  I’ll probably get to know each of them more then I ever wanted to this year, but I’m very excited for launch in July and heading to Haiti with TEAM HIND’S FEET!!!!!! 😀
