So I wrote a worship song recently, and my friends and I actually recorded it, but I wanted to share the lyrics with you guys.

This song has been my anthem recently, and its going to be my anthem for the rest of the race. When my soul gets weak, I want to run straight to God so He can fill me up. So that He refresh me. I want to pursue His love, His heart, every single day of this trip. I want to grow into someone, that when I come back, my love for Jesus literally exudes off of me. Im tired of being a stagnant Christian.
Im tired of saying
‘Ill do it tomorrow.’
‘Ill pray later.’
‘Ill read the bible later.’
There is no later in the Christian faith. If you call yourself a christian, it starts now. Stop putting off what God has called you to. Realized that here and now, he wants all of you. Stop making excuses as to why you can’t pursue him. I’ve made excuses my entire life of why I couldn’t do certain things.
IM FREAKING LEAVING ON AN 11 MONTH MISSIONS TRIP!
GOD CAN DO WHATEVER HE WANTS WITH YOU, BUT YOU HAVE TO BE WILLING!
‘But im not called to missions.’
That’s not true. We are all called to the Great commission. You know what’s funny about that word? The word mission.
Matthew 28: 19-20
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
You know what your mission field could be? It could be your work. Your school. The sports team you play on. Maybe it’s when you play video games, you share Jesus with people. HECK IT COULD BE YOUR OWN HOUSE. It doesn’t matter your age, your ethnicity, your gender, your skin color. You know whats cool about Christianity? ITS FOR ANYONE WHO BELIEVES!!
But what are you doing with the time God has blessed us with? Are you using it to only satisfy your carnal needs? Your wants? I’ve found that in order to find true joy in life, I’ve actually lived by this acronym.

I always put Jesus first. I put my family and friends second. And i put myself last. Now does this mean I forget about my health, or the things I NEED in life? No. But it means sacrificing my time, and my desires, to be the change that I want to see in the world.
What change do you want to see in the world? IF you just sit on your butt, and say ‘Someone else will do it God.’ I want to ask you where is your faith? God can use you, and He wants to. You just have to take the leap of faith.
