At the beginning of the race the idea of writing a blog was an over whelming assignment that caused a lot of fear and anxiety and is still hard, but with God anything is possible!

To me the world race is a big confusing thing that I wanted to be apart of, but I didn’t want to burden anyone by making it any more complicated for whoever had the task of trying to keep this thing afloat.

It really blows my mind that the world race is even reality, it seems like a fake dream. The other day I started to fear that this bubble that I live in is about to pop. And that I would have to return to the reality I knew back at home before the race. A lot of the world racers are thinking about what’s next for them after the race and so am I.

I have come to realize that God has even greater things in store for me. He has filled my heart full of love, and given me a bunch of dreams, visions, and a ton of clear communication about my future. I have a dream of putting a really nice coffee shop in the middle of Soi Cowboy (a street lined with bars in Bangkok). The idea is to bring a light into the middle of the darkness. A place of contrast, a place where everyone is welcome, and no one is unloved. I just have to keep my eyes on Jesus and follow His lead and leave it up to Him to open the right doors.

He hasn’t brought me this far for nothing! I love being apart of the work that God is doing. If you are interested in partnering with this vision let me know. I want to do this with excellence and that requires different gifts that other parts of the body possess. Just leave a comment at the bottom with your email address.
God has been guiding and protecting us as we roam throughout the world, and I have never seen God’s powerful arms performing His mighty works like I have this year.

The race never really looked like I would have expected, though it’s always been far beyond any expectation I had. God has far surpassed all of my expectations this year, and it’s cool to see how he has used the body of Christ to make things happen. I never knew I had so many awesome family members all over the world.
