One thing I’ve noticed while reading the bible lately is that God hates sexual sin. Being in Thailand makes me realize how costly it is. God hates sin,
not the sinner. God loves the sinner, in fact He loves the sinner so much that He gave His son to die and pay the price for all the sin of the world.

I think so many people label themselves after their actions and their identity is based on what they do, and that what they do makes them who they are. That’s just not true.

I met a beautiful girl named Beam who is working at a bar, she is around 19 years old, (they lie about their age so it’s hard to tell). After talking a bit, she told me that she is a lesbian and that God hates lesbians. I told her that God loves lesbians and that she doesn’t have to change for God to love her, that God loves her just the way she is. God hates what we do some times, like if you look at me. I said do you think I am perfect? No I do many things wrong, I stood up patted my stomach and said look I over eat, and God doesn’t like that, but he loves me anyway. Sin is all the same to God he hates it all, but He loves everyone know matter what we do.

The enemy says, “You’re a lesbian, you’re a liar, you’re a slut, you’re a pervert, you’re a selfish jerk.” That’s the accuser, we need to tell him to shut up and go to hell. Jesus came to forgive us, to wash us clean, to heal our broken hearts and to set the captives free. Jesus came that we might live life to the full, not leaving us, living addicted to the things of this world destined to die.

I think a lot of the people in Thailand feel abandon and ashamed of who they think they are and what they think they have become.

Nana, Bkok. Where the girls get ready for work in the bars.

The bible states that
the cost of sin is death, and that
the love of money is the root of all evil. I’ve talked to more girls in the last few days and one thing is common among them all. They all have to make
money to send to their family. Their families are demanding money so that they can have a nice car and a nice house; valuing the things of this world above the value of their child. Leaving the child to feel like they are worthless and not worthy to be loved.

Talking with Annie from the Well yesterday I found myself weeping with her as she told Amanda and I her story about how she was beaten and raped since she was five when her mother sold her. She remembers talking to the sky whispering “help me, help me, I know you are up there, please help me”. Annie is 39 now and only got free two years ago when some Christians from Chicago came and invited her to a party. They shared the love of Jesus with her and by the end of the night she noticed her hand was raised to accept Jesus into her heart. She said she never put her hand up, but it was raised. She thought that maybe life could be better if she went with these people. The people from Chicago paid for her freedom which cost around 150 dollars, and she has been at the Well ever since. She makes jewelry and other stuff to make money to send her son to School. She wants him to go to a Christian school but right now her dad has him going to a Chinese one, he is eight and she hasn’t seen him in five years.
