Do not love this world nor the things it offers you
, for when you love the world you do not have the love of the father in you.
The world only offers a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions.
This world is fading away, along with every thing that people crave
.
But everyone that does what pleases God will live forever.

If someone has enough money to live well and sees a brother or sister in need but shows no compassion- how can God’s love be in that person? 1 John 3:17

Let the spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes.
· Stop telling lies.
· Don’t let the sun go down on your anger, it gives the devil a foot hold.
· If you are a thief quit stealing, use your hands for good hard work, and
give generously to others in need.
· Don’t use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will
be an encouragement to those who hear them.
· Don’t bring sorrow to God’s Holy Spirit by the way you live.
· Remember that
God has identified you as his own, (put his seal on you) guaranteeing that your will be saved on the day of redemption.
· Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead,
be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.
We are all guilty.
