I feel as though I have come home.
Romania is a beautiful country which I have visited once before in 2011. Currently I am in a small village 3 hours from Deva, but about 20 minutes from Targu Mures. And there is a big difference in the people that I have met. In this area we are working with a Hungarian contact. His name is Jean-Bore, he speaks Romanian, Hungarian and some English. We travel into to villages to work with the Gypsies usually by walking and then taking a city "bus" (van). We then go into houses or on the street and pray, sing and speak to the people, give out clothes that have been donated. Jean-Bore seems to have a good reputation in each of the villages we enter, and he has a love for reaching the lost. God has placed prayer, intercession and evangelism strongly in this mans heart and life.
This month we have a house for just our team (Cypress). We are able to cook our own meals as well. Also Amy is Canadian so we celebrated thanksgiving with a roasted chicken and the rest of thanksgiving goodies the best we could on a budget. It was amazing and we will have left overs for awhile.
Thursday is our only day off for the week, so you will probably see more of me on those days. However, we are supposed to have internet here at the house all the time, it has yet to work though.
I would give the week schedule, however, it changes often and there are many different villages that we visit, and I don't know all of them. We do however go to Foi by walking 18 minutes to the traditional gypsies and the home gypsies there… basically every ministry day.
Please pray for us and the people here. We are going in and doing battle everyday here. There are a lot of Spiritual strongholds here that the people are ready to be free from but don't know how to break free. Also, because we are praying and pouring out, please pray for renewed energy in us. Let us be vigilant in our personal prayer walk and be sure to be filled with Him.
