It’s snowing in spring time!
Are you possibly like most people who would love to see the snow go away?
I have my times too, when I look at the circumstances and sometimes they seem overwhelming and all of a sudden it’s like I gave control of my emotions to something outside myself. You are not alone.
Imagine you had a dream that you wanted to accomplish (Be a good Father, Mother, Business person,________ etc..) and as you begin to work towards it you start realizing that there is opposition. Much of our displeasure does not come from what we see but how we interpret what we experience.
At times you may feel that you are alone in what you aspire to do in this world and that no one is truly there to help you. I do too sometimes. As if no one really would take the time to be with me always and that would not judge for my imperfections but be patient with me and love me unconditionally and guide me through my transformation.
I would like to tell you that you are not alone. I am with you and someone greater than myself is there with you all the time. The Bible tells us that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. While we were so self-centered focused on our own way Jesus came so that we might be able to understand our human nature and our need for Him. He also told the apostles that He needed to go away to the Father because if He did not go the Helper would not come. Guess What! Jesus went to God the Father and left those who believe on Him the Holy Spirit. The same Holy Spirit that raised Jesus from the grave and encourages you and teaches you right from wrong and to prove what you believe.
Jesus from human perspective without eyes to see looks like a man that was abandoned in his hour of need but yet it was not true. God the Holy Spirit was with Him comforting him along the way and reminding Him of His purpose to take the cup of suffering so we could come to the realization of the power of the unconditional love God has for His Fallen creation.
When I survived Cancer I had plans to change the world until I realized that I needed to be changed myself. As I became more aware of the love of God in Jesus Christ I came to the realization of my need for Him at the center of my life. Just like a ballerina needs a focus point in order to stay balanced I need to keep myself focused on Jesus to weather the storms of this life.
You are not alone in your struggle to make you’re dreams come true. I pray that God reveals to you the hope and glory found in Jesus Christ and the overcoming faith found in believing in Him.
I thank God for this opportunity to walk this out and believe in God’s provision for the trip.
