Where in the World is Team Crash of Love headed??
For December all the teams in S Squad will be praying to see where God desires us to go. Then we’re off.
Shoot a prayer for wisdom and an eager heart for where ever we end up
Here are the choices!
Option 1: Children’s
Rehab Center:
Ministry that tends to
at-risk teens and children in vulnerable
conditions that need to
be rehabilitated.
Option 2: Urban City
Ministry:
Our focus will be on
ministry to the poor, feeding centers,
church-planting, child
sponsorships, serving in rehab centers, and
other projects that are
ongoing in an urban (city) environment.
Option 3: Half month
villages ministry and half month Surf ministry.
The first half of our
month will be spent helping spread
the gospel
to different villages by
playing with the children, teaching English,
helping locals do their
jobs, going door to door, leading Bible
studies….
For the second half of
the month’s ministry, December
15-28, we will be working
with Christian surfers.
Option 4: Local Pastor
Assistance Ministry:
We will be working with a
local pastor who does not speak much
English. You will be assisting in various
outreaches that his church
is doing including
children’s ministry, house visits, and
preaching/teaching in
church.
Option 5: Tourist City
Ministry
We will be in the city
doing construction and evangelism.
Option 6: Jungle Tribe
Ministry:
You will be heading into
the jungle to spend the month with a tribe.
From what I’m told, you
will be taking canoes to reach indigenous people.
It will definitely be
“roughing it”
so to speak, we’ll be ready to die to our rights 🙂
Option 7: Small City
Ministry
There will be several
pastors in the area whom you will partner with
as they reach out to
their communities through various outreaches.
There will also be a
Christmas program that you will assist in
coordinating.
