Do you see Gods hands?

Things are getting started quick on the World Race. Stories are beginning to pile up,  before telling those I must go back and thank the people who have given me the opportunity for every story out here.

Somewhere near the end of this past June, a guy was interested in my 1966 El Camino.
Now, Im not sure what it is about me and weird situations, that turn into something amazing. But this is definitely one. Dan (the guy interested in the car) followed me home to get the phone # off the “For Sale” sign in my car. Within mins we found ourselves driving his BMW from his house around the streets of Lancaster. We were looking to trade vehicles, but before getting back to his drive way to park his car, the story took an unexpected turn. This friendly stranger is a Christian, not only that, but his daughter was on an insane mission trip, thats taken her around the world (Keturah, she returns in November). That night Dan invited me to his church. From there a friendship began. Days later I applied for The World Race. Thank you so much (Dan & Sue) for helping me get things started and allowing me to be apart of your lives, and also inviting me to guys group ๐Ÿ™‚

Bill. Dude! I cant thank you enough. We’ve been through tons! Between long drives to Texas and long conversations at Dennys about Gods massive love for us. You deserve so much more than a few words on a blog brother.

With my head hung in defeat as we walked out of the LAX Airport on July 24th after trying to catch a standby flight to GA for the WR training camp. The plane was full and I couldnt get to camp on time. Meaning, the WR wouldnt allow me to join the Oct. squad. My heart sunk, so much faith to expect the Lords provision, and it all crashed down so abruptly. Holding back tears, you gave me hope brother. You gave me a few words of wisdom and a hug than I was sprinting back inside to the ticket counter with a renewed spirit. Caught the next plane out. Arrived late, but just in time ๐Ÿ™‚ God.
Thank you for pushing me to be a better person.

Duke Jackson! Brother. I love you man. Its such a pleasure knowing you. Starting back at the 168, you’ve been a great mentor. Beyond camera work. You have such a humble heart. I pray God blesses you and your wife with so much.
Getting back from camp nobody had invested in my ability for this crazy idea. 2 min into our conversation about the race you were eager to jump in and help out. Thank you for having faith and following through with everything. You’ve shown me more than you can realize.

Angel, Daniel, Sandy, and Chris! Who are yall!?! How does God work in such crazy ways? Who knew a text invite to a Shikainah conference would bring all of us together? The spiritual lifestyle yall walk with is beautiful. Chris your amazing Love for the Lord is fantastic. “Falling on your face before the Lord” has an all new meaning to me after we laid out in Daniels walk way! ๐Ÿ™‚ Sandy you’re legit. Straight legit. I’ll miss you. As August rolled around and money didnt show up like any of us planned, thank God Angel and Daniel were there. My mind raced with the fear of failure but yall rode the emotional roller coaster with me. As we witnessed God provide. Thank you for calming me down and listening to me talk.

On Craigslist, have you ever wondered what category a “Support Letter” goes under?? Misc, was my best guess. You might wonder if I got any responses to a “Support Letter” for the WR on Craigslist.. Sure did. 45+ spam emails and 1 amazing friend. William. The Craigslist guy lol. Dude. Our friendship is nuts! Your faith in the Lords provision is astounding! Your faith to give everything away with expectation for God to provide for our needs. Thats living out scripture!! Who does that? Most people talk about it, you my friend live it. That kind of faith is contagious! Then God provided the day before I left! How awesome is that? Thank you for being such an example of faith.

If you dont see God in your life, you’re not paying attention. Than again, it helps to be homeless, jobless, broke financially, and forced to trust in the Lord for radical things. Thank God for it all.

I know I probably missed many of the most important people.. Sorry.

Thank you also to Paul, Jamie, The Bridge Class, Traci, Linda, Blair, Gma& Gpa, Unk J & Auntie M (Love yall), Bob, Rajiv, Aunt Karen, Bethany, Shaddia, Chase, Jessica, Karen, Danny, John Boy, Dez, Amber, and you anonymous folks.
