Hello all! Long time, no blog! Sorry about that…my brain has been kinda overwhelmed lately.
However, I am now writing to share some very exciting news! After much prayer and confirmation regarding the best next step after the Race, I am excited to announce that in September I will begin a 6 month program called The Adventures Fellowship!
Here are the answers to a few questions you may have about the fellowship and how you can support me in this next step of ministry:
What is the Adventures Fellowship?
The Fellowship is a six month opportunity for ten high caliber developing leaders to make a significant leap in their leadership and professional development under quality coaching.
What can you expect?
– Monthly get-togethers with one or more of Adventures in Missions senior leaders or board members
– One on one coaching in alignment with my area of focus
– A challenging curriculum of books, instruction and projects
– Take ownership of and manage my own project
-Opportunity to mentor
– Access to our professional network of global leaders
– Coaching in bridging the gap between World Race lifestyle and my life’s calling
– Join a strong, healthy community that’s actively changing the world
– Connection to experienced disciplers and other resources for my spiritual growth
How do you know this is the “right” next step?
Well, this is also a leap of faith! Aside from the peace I have there are several things that affirms this decision. First, the fact that I was even invited is truly incredible. This program is by invite only with only 10 spots available. Additionally, I feel strongly that after the Race I will enter a season of intense training and discipleship. This program will not only meet that desire, but because it is with AIM it will also help me to maximize and apply my World Race missionary and leadership experiences in a professional way while supporting my transition back into America. Lastly, I was set to begin my internship at my home church this September, but after sharing this opportunity with my Pastors, they both agreed I should pursue it!
Where will you live?
I will live in a home with a few other people in Gainesville, Georgia.
How much does it cost?
The total cost of the program is $9,950. Gratefully the majority of the money raised will support my living costs through a $1,000 monthly stipend ($6,000 total) and the remaining $3,950 covers all housing, program, and administrative costs.
How can I help?
Of course, prayers are ALWAYS welcomed and encouraged! This is a new season and faith journey for me and your prayers carried me through this past year. You can also help to support me financially. Since this is an Adventures In Missions program, you can make a tax deductible donation to the same account as my World Race Fundraising Page. While the entire program costs $9950, I need to raise $3000 by September 1.
