Want more insight into what my life looks this month?

Here’s my past week! Some days are more detailed than others. Our short-term memory is kinda hazyJ  As you’ll see it’s been a pretty busy month with lots of travel, serving in different ways, and meeting amazing people. It’s turning into one of my favorites so far:)

**Things that happen everyday**

  • Morning devotionals with team. Right now we’re reading through a chapter of Proverbs a day, followed by prayer dedicating our day to the Lord.
  • Feedback. Feedback is a time where gather as a team to share with each other ways we individually reflected Jesus’ character and when we fell short that day. It’s a time to call each other out in love and encourage continual growth. We do this 6 days a week.

Pattaya, Thailand

Friday, December 13th

Day: Visited Thrive Rescue Home. Got tour of facility, met with founder, and learned more about their work against child sex trafficking.

Night: Awesome dinner of noodles and pork. Spent the evening just hanging out.

Our visit with Thrive Rescue Home was amazing! They are doing an incredible work for victims of sex trafficking. It was such an honor to meet with them! Here we are with co-founder, Jen and field coordinator Maegan.

Saturday, December 14th

Day: We welcome our Squad Leaders Amanda and Laura. Later we rode elephants!

Night: Bar outreach with Thrive followed by dinner at Night Market. Read here for more on our night.

Me, Kristina, and our Squad Leader Amanda at our second bar of the night. Read my previous post for the story about these awesome shirts!

Sunday, December 15th

Day: Spent a few hours applying for our visas to India.

Night: Went to Walking Street…a place filled with bars, strip clubs, and brothels. Oh and many of the women there are children and are trafficked.

Monday, December 16th

Day: Spent morning in prayer and discernment for where to go next. Went to a café for a few hours to do research.

Night: Our gracious hosts at Thrive threw us a surprise farewell dinner. That night we went back to Walking Street. We prayed, sang worship songs and Christmas carols, and Kristina danced!

Our surprise farewell dinner! Thanks again to Natalie and Gry!
