Less than 15 days until I’m back in the great state of New York. One of the many reasons why I love New York is because we have four distinct seasons. Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall. I love the snow in the winter, but I know it won’t last forever, and soon I can enjoy the long hot days of summer. I also love the leaves changing color in the Fall, which means Thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner. What’s so cool about the seasons is that no seasons are the same. Some Christmases we might be blessed with snow (join me in praying for a White Christmas this year!), while some Christmases it just rains. My point is that seasons come, seasons go. The main constant that I’m thankful for is my relationship with Jesus. He’s the Great Shepherd and all I need to do is trust His leading through all seasons of life.

As I end 11 months of traveling the world with 36 other people and talking with everyone we meet about Jesus, I’m excited to begin another season. One chapter of my life is closing, and another is beginning. What I don’t want to end though is the new fire God has placed in my heart for justice, love, and a kingdom perspective. As I pursue the callings God has placed on my heart, please know that I also want to hear what God has done in you and through you these past 11 months!

Please continue to pray for us as a squad that we will end this season well and begin “month 12” well.

Here is a great blog post I came across called 10 ways to help your racer during the reentry process:

In courageous faith and for His glory alone,

P.S. Don’t worry! The next blog post will be about our August 17th event for  refugees.

I also started a recap on Instagram. I’ll be posting everyday for 11 days recapping all God has done the past 11 months.
