We’ve made it to the Philippines!  We are all safe and sound with no problems with luggage or at customs!  We traveled for 17+ hours on Sunday and Monday.  That 14 hour flight from L.A. to Hong Kong was so long!

This week we are staying at the base of K.I.M (Kid’s International Ministries), run by Jeff Long, for further training and orientation.  As soon as we pulled up to the gate, we were surrounded by kid’s who were curious why we were there but ready to be loved and chased around in the street.

I have found out my team of seven will be staying here in Manila this month with a couple other teams.  We don’t know yet what we will be doing but we will be helping K.I.M. with their various ministries in this impoverished community.  On Friday’s we will be going across town to work with a ministry called Samaritana, which helps women trying to get out of prostitution.  We also plan on spending time walking around this neighborhood, called Quatro, getting to know people and developing friendships.

Please pray for our time here in the Philippines and that God directs our path in every ministry we find, whether planned or unplanned.  Also, that the people we meet and share with have open hearts.

Thank you for everything!  I love you all!
