The following video is a short documentary of Lukodi, Uganda. Northern Uganda was at war from 1986- 2006. During the war, Kony, the leader of the army (LRA), would abduct young children and women and use them as soldiers and to transfer goods to Sudan. This is the story of Lukodi told by James, staff of Child Voice International. Child Voice works with restoring children and families that have been affected by the war. My other teammates have been working with Child Voice and doing ministry within the Lukodi IDP camps this month, but we are in the same region and working with others affected by this 20 year war.
