Hello everyone! I am writing from Los Angeles, CA!
I flew in last night (Friday) and was picked up by a friend who was on my mission team to Kenya. I will meet my World Race team at the airport tonight, and we fly out at 1 am Sunday to the Philippines (short layover in Hong Kong).
This is my first time being out here and I’m excited to spend a few hours today with my friend Erin and doing the “touristy thing” before leaving L.A! Last night we went to Santa Monica and walked out onto the pier.
Today we will probably go to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Malibu, see L.A., and I plan on getting a picture with the giant Hollywood sign! Erin is so sweet for taking me in for a day and I’m excited for some quality time with her.
Please remember my team in your prayers as everyone travels into L.A. today, and as we head out to the Philippines.
