My team is addictive…like snacks.

Sarah—As a woman with a crazy awesome outgoing personality, Sarah cracks me up.  She has an innate ability to love like Jesus no matter who the person is.  Her charm can overpower even the grumpiest person on the planet, and by the end of the race, maybe we will have met that individual.  Sarah also has no fear in who she is.  The Holy Spirit has given her incredible confidence in not only herself but in what God calls her to do.  She knows without a doubt the voice of the Holy Spirit and follows Him wherever, even if it may seem crazy to the world.  "No fear" is her middle name.

Natasha—This woman of God has an amazing amount of patience.  Perhaps that’s from teaching children for a few years but regardless of its origination, she’s got patience.  Natasha also has the most amazing servant attitude.  She loves with her actions so much that it astounds me, whether she is giving up her material items or being our honorary “mom” on the race by cleaning or cooking.

Adam—Basically a human monkey.  Adam can climb anything but more than that he takes chances that most people would be afraid to take.  Whether that is him being adventurous or him being challenged in his faith, Adam isn’t scared of difficulties.  I have the utmost respect for this characteristic.  He also has an ability to remain calm in situations, something that not all of us possess.  He thinks through things rationally before coming to a conclusion and does not get stressed out.  I wish I had that.

Conner—This amazing man of God has taught me so much as a brother.  He has allowed God to change him even when every ounce of his flesh might say otherwise.  The man he is today lives as a testimony to the work God can do in somebody within a short time.  Conner is 110% different from the day I met him (a few months ago) and I couldn’t be prouder of the man he has become.  As my brother, he has shown me what it means to serve and be served.  He treats us with amazing love that reeks of Christ (in a good way).  His “little boy” side is hilarious.  Conner also has incredible Biblical knowledge and wisdom.  I love hearing what he has to say during devotions.

Kelsey—Our incredible leader Kelsey:  what can I not say about her?  She can read between the lines in so many situations.  We tell her our view and she takes it a step further.  She asks the difficult questions to discover the root issue, which is such an incredible gift.  God has given her the power of discernment that I dare to say is fairly rare.  I also love her boldness in life.  Kelsey isn’t afraid to take chances, something I desire to have greatly.

In two words, you could say my team is DA BOMB.  I’m realizing that each person has individual gifts that make our team whole.  Without one of us, it feels empty and incomplete.  We need each other.  If we go 11 months without learning from one another, we aren’t living in real community.  I can’t wait to see what else God reveals.  Keep our team in your prayers because God is doing amazing things in and through us.
