Asland has been slaughtered by the White Witch. He lies there, stripped of his dignity.
The children bore into the screen with their intense looks of sadness.
The two daughters of Eve tear themselves away from their beloved king, knowing that he died for the betrayal of their brother. Upon leaving, the ground shakes violently. The concrete stairs crack in half at the earth’s tremble, bringing the two to their knees. These daughters quickly glance back to where Asland lays, only to see the Stone Table destroyed and the king vanished.
The children gasp with looks of awe, trying to understand to where Asland had gone.
The sun shines upon the Stone Table brighter than ever before. It highlights the new fault in the table with its glistening yellow rays. A shadow suddenly overtakes most of the sun in the form of a lion. They immediately rush to his side, giddy that their fearless leader has returned.
The children murmur, clap, cheer, and shout with excitement for Asland. They cannot believe that he came back from the dead to rescue them.
Asland gracefully sprints across the land with the two daughters on his back. He arrives at the battle scene, prepared to annihilate the enemy. Asland ferociously roars at the top of the mountain, sending chills among the fighters.
Every child started cheering so loud that I couldn’t even hear myself think. I had the craziest joy from that because that is how we should see Jesus. These kids were so ready for battle, and so was I. If they were ready for that because of a movie, we should be ready so much more. A lion is nothing compared to the power and strength of Jesus. Let’s get ready for war!!!
