As I’m walking along the beach this morning, I think of how Jesus speaks to me in amazing ways. I wonder out loud what He will send me next when I see a red flower on the beach. See, God is funny.
This red flower stood out among everything—the sand, the water, the jellyfish, everything. God sent me a message. The message is simple: I have created you to stand out. I have made every single one of my children with individual gifts that cannot be duplicated. You are created special, so believe it. When Satan tells you otherwise, fight him with every ounce of the Holy Spirit.
This last week this has been an incredibly difficult lesson in this area. Satan has done everything he can to tear me apart mentally. He has created weaknesses that I never knew existed, but I’ve realized there is something much greater. Jesus. That one word has more power in its name than the entire universe.

When Satan does all he can to break you down, remember this flower. God took care of it even through the crashing waves, and it came out more beautiful than before. It was washed clean.
And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
Matthew 6:28-30
