I’m Shannon.
I’m awkward.
And intense.
I change my hair about as often as I change my socks.
Which never match, by the way.
I hate flying.
But love watching airplanes.
I put ketchup on my mac-n-cheese.
I don’t have free time, so don’t ask me what I do with it.
I love the smell of library books.
I read more than anyone should.
I love almond milk dirty chai lattes, country line dancing, the beach, and my students.
[None of these will be on the Race with me. Except maybe line dancing of course.]
And I have [unhealthy?] obsessions with Garth Brooks and Disneyland.
I have been a beauty queen.
I need adventure.
And spontaneity.
And romance.
I believe that there is no weakness in forgiveness.
I believe that all children will learn.
I believe that God does not love us because we are good, but because He is good.
And there are very few things more important in life than USC football.
—–
Shannon in Florida.
With my crazy family.
And my babysister who I adore.
Also.
I love to eat. Especially when the waffles are shaped like Texas.
In case I haven’t said it yet, that’s where my heart is mostly.
This is my one of my very best friends getting married. I love her so much.
And I believe you should understand the extent of my awkwardness on a daily basis.
And now, The World Race is my life.
So let’s go live it.
